One or more formula cells comprise a set of relationships which define a single spreadsheet model, which is fixed in form when the user is done editing the formulas. But this single model contains interconnections among cells, and those interconnections invariably contain implicit alternative forms of the model. These model permutations can answer a range of analytical questions that the original model was not built to answer.
